Job Description

The Project Manager is accountable for the planning, scheduling, organizing, directing and control of construction projects from start to finish. With a team player attitude and the ability to organize their time and workload efficiently while using their initiative to ensure that timeframe targets and budgets are met. This individual will be self-motivated and the have the freedom to often self-manage as well.

Job Requirements

- At least 2 years experience working in a construction management role

- Experience with estimating considered an asset

- Excellent verbal/written communication and strong negotiation skills.

- Team Player

- Highly disciplined, independent, well organized self-starter.

- Ability to handle confidential information

- Fluent in both official languages

- Must be able to move 50 lbs, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods of time

- Strong time-management and people skills, flexibility, and multitasking ability

- Available evenings and weekends when needed

Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator is accountable for directing, organizing, and controlling project activities under the direction of the Project Manager (PM).

Responsibilities

• Liaison between client and project appraisers

• Prepare timetables on projects

• Assign, schedule and manage subcontractors with budget guidelines

• Secure materials selection and accurate ordering

• Obtaining approval for all work and subtrades and any orders that have to be changed

• Preparation and correction of project deficiencies

• Adhere to project completion dates

• Report to and assist senior project managers

• Prepare weekly report on job progress, problems and solutions

• Coordinate the care/protection of client belongings during the restoration process

• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as per the needs of the business

Qualification and Requirements:

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• On-the-job training is provided

• Must be available for possible evening and weekends

Skills and competencies

• Ability to work within a team

• Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing, French is considered an asset

• Ability to follow specific instruction and direction

Cleaning Technician

The Cleaning Technician is part of a committed team performing contents cleaning services on site and in our warehouse. This team provides exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inventorying and packing contents of homes and businesses

• Using Contents handling software (mobile and iPad app)

• Clean contents both in the warehouse and on site

• Clean structures (walls, ceilings, floors)

• Manipulate contents (pack boxes and move them to another room)

• Vacuum and Clean construction contaminated areas of the home or business

Qualification and Requirements
